In Cans, showrooms are overflowed with “countryglamour”. Three barns, two cellars, an old empty house and a warehouse change for one evening to hold screens, projectors and an enthusiastic audience. Six of them hold the participating short films: Cuberto de Chelo (Chelo’s barn) Casa do Pato (Pato’s house) Cuberto de Antonio (Antonio’s barn) Baixo do Moncho (Moncho’s basement) Casa de Bugarín (Bugarín’s house) Casa do Carreira (Carreira’s house) A very well organized rotation system lets people with a ticket go through four different showrooms so they won’t miss any of the participating shorts. The seventh showroom is the “Jalpón Friki”. The entrance is free and there, some of the most bizarre films made in Galicia in the last year are shown.
